The Konica AR 4/80-200mm - which was replacing the AR 4/80-200mm UC in the eraly 1980s - pretty much looks and feels as the Tokina RMC 4/80-200mm. Both lenses share a [12/9] optical constriction, their MFD is 1.9 m, and the wight and size are similar. Interestingly, Konica has two patents on a lens with a similar (but not identical) optical construction, filed in June 1985.
